At Ujyalo Yatra Academy, learning does not stop at textbooks or classrooms. With this belief, we organized an educational tour to Hetauda, giving our students an opportunity to learn through real experiences, observation, interaction, and joy. The trip was designed to blend education, recreation, cultural exposure, and bonding, creating memories that will stay with our children for years.
Our day started early with excitement written all over the students’ faces. As we began our journey from Dhanusha to Hetauda, the bus was filled with laughter, songs, and curiosity. Teachers guided students throughout the journey, explaining places we passed and encouraging discipline, teamwork, and care for one another. For many students, this journey itself was a new experience, teaching them patience, cooperation, and travel etiquette.
One of the main highlights of our tour was visiting Hetauda Park. Surrounded by greenery and open spaces, the park offered a calm and refreshing environment for students. Here, students observed nature closely, learned about plants, open ecosystems, and the importance of green spaces in daily life. Teachers connected these observations with classroom lessons, making learning simple, visual, and practical.
After observation sessions, it was time for fun and physical activities. Students participated in multiple games that encouraged teamwork, coordination, and healthy competition. These activities helped children improve communication skills, leadership, and confidence while enjoying themselves freely in a safe environment. Learning through play remained at the heart of every activity.
The tour also included interactive sessions where students shared their thoughts, experiences, and learnings. This was followed by joyful song and dance sessions, where children expressed themselves creatively. Such moments helped students overcome hesitation, build self-expression, and strengthen bonds with friends and teachers.
Proper care was taken to ensure students’ comfort and health. Students enjoyed breakfast and lunch together, learning good food habits, cleanliness, and sharing. Teachers closely monitored every student, ensuring hygiene, safety, and discipline throughout the day.
To add cultural and spiritual value to the tour, students visited a nearby temple, experiencing a calm and positive environment. Teachers explained the importance of respect, silence, and cultural values, helping students understand spirituality as part of holistic development.
This educational tour to Hetauda helped students:
Learn beyond classrooms through observation and experience
Develop social skills, teamwork, and confidence
Understand the value of nature, culture, and discipline
Build stronger relationships with peers and teachers
Enjoy learning in a joyful, stress-free environment
